Acne, an adolescent issue that can also be seen on the skin of every newborn after birth. Newborn baby acne on the face or other parts of the body is a common issue for every newborn.
No one knows the exact cause of newborn acne. It may be the result or effect of a mother’s hormone which circulates in the baby’s system since pregnancy.

Newborn acne normally begins at 2 to 3 weeks of a newborn and can often last until a baby is 4 to 6 months old.
But there is nothing to worry about because newborn acne goes away naturally. In some cases, it may take a while.
How Should You Treat Your Newborn Baby Acne
As newborn acne is a normal issue for a newborn & goes away naturally, you shouldn’t be worried about your newborn baby acne treatment.
In the case of my 2 kids’ baby acne, I didn’t do anything especially. I just cleaned it by wiping warmly wet soft clean cotton cloth and dried by wiping with a soft & absorbent cloth.

Their baby acne went away within a few weeks without any lasting marks.
So, in case of your newborn’s acne just wash it with plain water or wipe it with a wet soft clean cotton cloth or cotton balls 1 or 2 times daily and pat it dry. Don’t squeeze, scrub baby acne with soap because by doing these infections may arise.
You will be surprised to know that breast milk is one of the best newborn baby acne remedies, a natural remedy. It can also be the best medicine for its antimicrobial properties.
Some mothers find breast milk can help to clean up newborn acne, besides cradle cap and clogged tear ducts.
So, if you are breastfeeding, breast milk is always on hand and you cannot but try rubbing a little amount of breast milk when your newborn has acne.

So, don’t worry about your newborn acne. Just relax and take care of your newborn and certainly, you will get clear baby – perfect skin without leaving any lasting marks!!!
